Would anyone be able to recomend an engineer, specialist or mechanic in the north derbyshire area that is familiar with iron barreled RE's ?

Reason being I've come to the conclusion that I currently dont have the time to strip and rebuild the RE's clutch and potentially the gear selectors inside the outer gearbox casing due to spending nearly every minute outside of work chasing our 1 year old whos now learnt walk, so any bike time i managed to sneak in ideally needs to be riding the bike not repairing her ( with the odd exception for mods from mr h's catologue)

any recomendations welcome and ideally within or just outside the peak district on either side ( notts/ cheshire/ staffs )

I know it's somewhat out of your area but it isn't a massive distance to Hitchcocks.

totally agree but trying to keep transport cost to a minimum currently and its a good 2 hour run to our hosts, wish i still lived in north warwickshire when the journey would only be 28 minutes!
