Speedo cable route on '52 Redditch Twin

Anyone recall the correct route for the speedo cable from the
rear wheel hub to the usual speedo perched on steering yoke ?
Either up along swinging arm, then threaded along top tube above
the motor. Or under motor, and up front downtube. Bike has a small
gas tank. and not much room on top tube with wiring and cables etc.
Catalogue pixs are not very clear. Thank you

Martin, cable exits drive box at approx 45* and joins top tube just under front of saddle, passes under tank. Yes, not a lot of room! But definitely not under engine!

Mark,Thanxs again for your astute advice.Thought the
top tube route was correct, but need drink before weaving
cable through the labyrinth of wiring already stuffed up
on top tube. Glad you confirmed it though, Martin
