Hi guys have a 1954 g2 bullit what kind o engine oil shall I use and also what oil goes in gearbox , regards mike

Reading some of the older posts on this subject, it would seem that Castrol 20/50 would do the job in both. Mix some grease with the oil for the gearbox.

Castrol or any recognised brand of 20/50 oil will be fine.

Gearbox should be packed with white grease see Hitchcocks lubricants.. Oil will piss out of the gearbox unless you fit sealed bearings.. You just need a splash of oil to get thrown around.. A good quality 20/50 should be fine for engine
