I am currently using Royal Purple 01320 Max Automatic Transmission Fluid in my four speed Royal Enfield Pre unit primary chain case but it is very strange that with in 2500 km four clutch case oil seal adapter ( 111888/A ) are failed. Oil seal adapter change is very difficult job. I am attached a picture of oil seal adapter. Is ATF not suitable for oil seal adapter ?
Please suggest me what i can do now, back to 20w40 or ATF.

Looking at their website I can't see anything in the product description that suggests it's radically different from other ATF oils, in fact it says you can mix them. What happens to the seals when they fail? Does the neoprene go soft and gooey like tar?

Could be gearbox bearing has gone, poss too tight primery chain or you are nicking the seal on the clutch shaft, I always put a bit of thin plastic or alufoil round shaft with a bit of lube on it.

Scotty is obviously thinking the same as me, a coincidental failure that is unrelated to the ATF. That's why I was asking about how exactly the seal failed, attacked by the ATF or torn during use or assembly?
