Hand shifting Bullet?

Hi,

Any one seen a hand shifter fitted to a Bullet 350 4 speed RH gearbox?

If so, is it possible to buy a kit or is it all custom made?

I know it's possible, I've seen one. I have no pictures though. If I remember rightly there was a sort of 'retainer' framework on the tank which held the changer arm and there were recesses cut into that to positively place the arm into when the gears were changed...

I have done this to a 4 and a 5 speed box in the manner illustrated here:

However, the short 1st gear on the 4 speed means you have to do a fair bit of juggling, when pulling away from lights and the additional leverage places a lot of strain on the linkages.



So, in general, unless you have a disability that needs such a system,I wouldn't bother.
