Impact driver? on a RE

Hello Folk's,,,Now I suffer with using my hands due to Old Age Poverty and war wounds ,,And a Mate has offered to give me a "Dewalt Impact Driver complete with Sockets",,,,, So is this A.A useful tool to work on an Enfield with..B. The Devils spawn throw it away...or C..Ok if you can get BST sockets ;0)..

I use one all the time. Same reason, old hands. You just need to be careful as they are very powerfull and can strip threads on small fastenings.

I use one especially for the alternator and clutch nuts. It reduces the need to lock the hub while backing off the nut. Those fork drain nuts spin off without turning the fork rods inside.

I couldn't get the nut off the gearbox mainshaft and I was in danger of damaging something so I took it to a local garage. He held the shaft in his hand and spun it off with an impact wrench with no effort. I've bought one myself now. It will make removing and tightening the crankshaft, clutch and gearbox nuts much easier.
