Hi Martyn, I used to work a couple of days a week at the Forge in Pumpsaint and although I didn't weld there myself, all sorts of welding was done there and brazing was done using oxy/acetylene. I asked why the propane wasn't used for brazing and was told it was very difficult and virtually impossible to braze with it, although I saw an attempt at using it there once and it was time consuming and messy. Regards, Paul.
