Just had my 500 Bullet head ports gas flowed and valve seats re-cut. It is an excellent job and I can`t wait to see what a difference it makes. If I could figure out how to put pictures on here I would, it`s a beauty.
Anyway the mans name is Brett Sims and he is just round the corner from Sammy Millers Emporium. Can't recommend him highly enough. Cost was £150.
Check out brettsimsmotorsport.co.uk.

Start off by going to Google and search for "Tinypic".
=1= Click on "Choose file". This takes you to your pictures, so choose one and click on it.
=2= TAGS: Type YOUR name for the picture.
=3= Resize: 640x480. Then, UPLOAD NOW....and wait really does mean wait!
=4= Select HTML for websites. Copy ALL of it.
=5= Now, get rid of Tinypics and open up the Hitchcocks Message board. Write anything you need to and PASTE the code you copied.
(Don't worry: It won’t look like your picture yet, just a lot of code. But it'll come up ok when re-opened.)
There are other systems around too, but this is the only one I know. Good luck!

Hello Ivor---My,my..Drooo-----------oool City !! or what ??..........Mirror, mirror on the wall -- who will be fastest of them all ???...£150 well spent there I would say...Seems a shame to start it up, eh ??...Hi Chris, ah that's what comes of being involved with 'er indoors LoL !!
Some time ago I seem to remember somebody on here machined and fitted some "O" rings around the pushrod tunnels...failing that then a bead of Blue Hylomar will give the same protection against leaks in this area........In the photo you can see that there isn't much clamping force at the bottom R/H and bottom L/H of the gasket face compared to elsewhere....

I forgot to say}----Remember that the Bullet passes ALL of it's scavenged oil through those two tunnels PLUS if the breather system is a bit AWOL then there's likely to be an increased pressure there as well so do make sure that if a copper head gasket is being used then it's been properly annealed before fitting...yes, especially a brand new one.....Also, test dry-fit the bare head onto the barrel and make sure that there is actually a visible gap between the top of the barrel and the mating face of the cylinder head........This gap MUST be smaller than the thickness of the gasket you are fitting ( Any type )..because at this stage the DIFFERENCE between the two measurements represents how much clamping force the head will exert onto the head gasket..

Very interesting. If he is just round the corner from Sammy Miller's he is just round the corner from me!
