Anyone one know what the sticky out bit on the downtube below the headstock is for on my 52 frame



As my 47 frame doesnt have the sticky out bit



and there is no evidence of anything being cut off

Hi, it's for the steering stop, 1947 has girder forks and a different system. Vince

Hi correction. Should read 47 have different Tele forks with stops part of the of the forks.Vince.
