Anyone one know what the sticky out bit on the downtube below the headstock is for on my 52 frame
As my 47 frame doesnt have the sticky out bit
and there is no evidence of anything being cut off

Are you sure it is a 52 frame?. It's a steering stop, but I thought it was only fitted from 55.

VMCC had it down as a 52 but who knows as the numbers show it as a 41 frame which is wrong
