Hi I have recently acquired a bullet 350 1955. On try to start it no spark? Does it require a battery to be fitted to fire up?

No, it has a magneto and needs no battery. Do you have a manual, if not get one.

From this site, you need the up to 1955 Bullet Workshop Manual, part number Man 8. !955 was the last year for the Bullet in this form before the engine and frame were re-designed, I am working on one of these myself which has been posted about before under the title 'Ebay Bullet' because that's where it came from!
