Hi folks, I'm trying to find an RAL code for the solid (not poly) maroon colour used on the redditch built bikes. I had thought it was 3004 but I think that's too dark? My mate has a flea that was maroon but he painted over it with a different shade so I can't use that for reference.
Anyone been down this road?

sorry--- forgot to add that as 3004 is listed for "Old Jawa Motorcycles" you might find an old Jawa finished in that colour and then see firsthand if that's OK for you... seem to remember we've had this one not so long ago..I mentioned then that our hosts website colour looks about right ??..............

According to an ex employee I spoke to a few years ago the colour would vary from batch to batch.

Cheers Alan, perhaps 3004 is a goer then. Maybe I'll get a taster pot mixed up and try it. Yes Ha back ground looks good and they do make two maroon colours but don't have RAL codes for them and can't send them in the post.

Sorry I should specify that they are not allowed to send paint in the post so it's a collection item only

Olly--------- use this............ https://imgbb.com/ ...........It'll use images stored on your Downloaded file so to get them there hover your pointer over the image you want use, clik "Save image" and it'll now show in your Downloads file....Activate the IMGBB and follow the prompts.....When you deposit it on a thread it'll show as numbers, letters etc but changes to an image one you "post a reply"
