Battery help please. 2017 euro 4 GT, how do I get the dam battery out of the frame please. I have removed to 2 M6 set screws that hold the battery clamp and the terminal screws but cant get the battery out. I am starting to think they must have built the bike around the battery.

Hi,I have a 2013 GT 535 and if yours is the same as mine,it's a tight fit. It needs carefully wrestling out as it's a busy space with bits of wiring loom floating around but it does come out.....getting it back however.......

My 535 GT is the same - a tight fit, but will come out by lifting and pulling fore ward at the same time, putting it back is the reverse.

Many hanks for your help, I did eventually get it out. I found that while pulling the top of the battery towards yourself and at the same time pushing the bottom of the battery in towards the bike, it's just possible to force it out of the carrier. Must make a note never to buy a slightly larger battery a any time.
