got this from my friend shed .. what is gearbox clipper ?

There should be a number stamped into the top face of the box, what is it? The others are casting numbers and not much help. It looks heavier than a Clipper type but the numbers should identify it.

Finally got sometime for gearbox.

the other number i can see RBF 194 on gearbox.

Hi, it looks like a "pre-unit" gearbox from a 250cc Clipper (1954-1958) or an Indian badged model... at 1st I thought it was Model G, J -ish (as on my bike) but then noticed the way the clutch is operated on your gearbox which is entirely different to boxes on other bikes with a "separate" box. Hopefully someone can confirm/dispel my thoughts?
