C5 Euro 4 bar end mirrors

Has anyone fitted bar end mirrors to their EFI C5? I have bought a Euro 4 Classic Chrome and tried a Halcyon bar end mirror but the fitting was wrong - just wondering if anyone has done this already.
. Just undo the bar weights and get longer bolts.
