Electra X spanners to adjust valve clearances

Can someone give me a clue what size spanners I need to adjust the valve clearances on my 2006 Electra X.
(Our hosts don't sell them for that model and I want to purchase two thin spanners for the purpose.
(The clearances have been OK the last few times I have checked but I don't expect that to last.)

Sorry I can't be more specific, it has been a while since I worked on one, but I don't recall needing any special sort of spanners to do the job?

Thin spanners is being specific. What I don't know is the size of spanner.

Pretty sure it's 10mm spanner, but benefits from being ground down to fit and move inside! I'll check mine tomorrow and confirm for you.

I seem to recall the actual spanner sizes on mine were 13mm for the pushrod hex, 10mm for the lock nut and 8mm for the ball-end adjuster. A.

Neddy where I live is a mega four candles, fork handles emporium which sells everything from a tin-tack to a supertankers propeller. They also sell spanners and sockets as single items, including thin spanners.
All I need is the sizes. Our hosts do not stock them for an Electra X, as they are different size to other Enfields.

Surely your local dealer/mechanic/ Hitchcocks would be able to tell you?

Leon Novello, there is no local dealer where I live, and to save the mechanic who usually services our motorcycles a nervous breakdown due to the idiosyncracies of Enfields, I am now doing my own servicing.
(Until now the valve clearances have no needed adjusting.
I though it would be a simple question as to what size spanners are needed for the job on an Electra X. Obviously I was wrong.

Adrian is right about the sizes - if my memory serves me right. I haven't touched the adjusters for years, and I won't as long as I can hear them. You'll notice if they start tightening up: hard starting from cold. I've used regular Stahlwille spanners without grinding, it is a bit fiddly but can be done. You can have a bit of extra clearance if you remove the cover screw from the center.
