I would seriously reccomend checking your chains or better still buying a European made one from our hosts. Detail here

Basically, 5 month old chain broke because two pins were not correctly peened over and were only holding the side plate on by friction.
I got away lightly, a tow home, a new chain and gasket and a few days without a ride.
