Mid 50's but the REOC will tell you the day it left the factory

There's a quicker way, email Graham Scarth of the REOC at [email protected] and he'll let you know what the Factory Register says. This will not be a proper dating letter, just the information on your engine. This service is free, if you want a Dating Letter for registration purposes you must be a Club Member. And I would also say about 1952!
