2007 export 350 fitted Boyer Bransden ignition through the points. I've not been very happy with battery life so as the ammeter just flickers and doesn't give much guidance I've fitted our hosts' Koso voltmeter, wired to a red/white wire in the casquette and the pilot light earths. At road speeds I get almost alternate green and red flashes on the main LED, and the upper amber LEDs on the scale are permanently on. If I turn on the sidelights the red flashes less frequently. I don't know how accurate these voltmeters are. Also, but perhaps co-incidentally, one LED pilot bulb is blown and the other is on it's last LED. Is it time to fit a Powerbox?
