Hello all. I have a 1956 350 Bullet with a burnt out stator the stator is hexagon, would any one know if the later round stator would fit,I am aware that the rotor would need changing also as it is smaller in diameter.

Clive, it should fit but as you say, you'll need to do it as a pair. Having said that, does your stator have an alloy mounting ring behind it? It may just be possible that the earlier type like you have needs the mounting ring and has different stud spacing to the later version. I just checked the Parts List online and our Hosts do a rebuilt 6volt stator for the 56 model which although not as cheap as a new later type, might be the way to go?
