hi i have purchased 144138 light clutch springs (light spring) for my classic 350 year 2000 , to fit one of my bikes and the new springs are painted yellow i thought yellow denominated heavy duty springs . anyone have an answer as i wanted light springs to reduce cable stretch!

My other 350 has green painted springs what does that mean ?

Hello NIG--------- maybe a stronger cable might be a cheaper alternative ??

I'm fairly sure that the standard springs come with all sorts of paint and even none at all.

I have various sets in blue and yellow all the same wire gauge and six coils.

Heavy duty i have heard may be white, but mine had no paint at all, either way blatantly obvious as heavy duty has thicker gauge wire and only 5 coils over same length..

Forget the paint..
