Ha-ha !!---That's ok "Sidney" ( LoL ).....So, if it's tech. advice you need then why not "cast your net" over the motley lads ( and Lass ) on the Forum...It's here to be of help after all........However,if it's the actual physical part of maintenance you need then our hosts have a very good, dedicated workshops run by folk who have been with the marque for some time...Why not give them a call ??

What Alan (Bob!) is trying to tell you is, that you will have to become that mechanic. Try describing your problem here and we will try to point you in the right direction toward solving it. It may be simpler to solve than you think, but you will probably end up fixing it yourself.

Don't be afraid.. We've all been there..

I no longer take my Royal Oilfield to a mechanic as I do not wish him to have a nervous breakdown. (He is a VERY skilled mechanic, with exotic and very expensive motorcycles in his workshop all of the time.)
He recently did the MOT on my Royal Oilfield without starting the engine, because he said he heard it arrive and that was all he needed to know.
