Hi
I took the plunge and now in my second fit stripdown has anyone successfully fitted this.
I need help, I have ended up with the new 2 geared crushed part and the bush which sits in the sprang cover tightly fitted together , I thought the tightness was fine marching but appears oversized as the starter cannot spin the engine
Help anyone please .has anyone had this problem .
Cheers
Kevin

A friend of mine ran into this last week.
It seems to be a bad batch so talk to Hitchcocks.
My friend sent the whole lot back and they fixed the problem by (I think) re-machining a bush? Anyway, it all fits now and he says it's great.

Thanks Peter
Your bang on hitchcocks helped as great as ever !
A new bush was sent out some fine tuning with wet/dry as advised got a good match
On reflection what Hitchcocks have done makes sense you can wet/ dry down to match but cannot add on
Now to finish off and use
