Underseat electrics cover

Hi all just woundering if anybody has purchased and fitted a electrics underseat cover from hitchcocks parts I have fitted a single seat and at the moment I have a homemade cover which looks good but I see the one in our magazine priced at £27.50 just looking for review on it thanks

Hi DAZZA ------If you mean the one at the bottom of page 106 of our hosts current spares manual then yes, I did on my No.2 Bullet......It certainly tidied - up the bare look of the exposed electrics after fitting a single saddle--- but mine was painted steel, not polypropylene !!!

I fitted our hosts cover to my Electra X(ish) Because I made my own single seat which is tight to the top frame tubes I also had to reroute all of the wiring under the frame tubes. That made a very neat job of it.

I've fitted one to my 350, with our host's Single Unsprung seat. Had to slightly open out the mounting holes to get it to line up with the seat bolts, but other than that it seats fine against the frame.
