Hi guys got a problem with my CGT fuel cap.
heard a rattle the other day (not unusual,I know!) managed to find the source and it was the metal ring that holds the rubber boot on inside the cap that had dropped out and was rattling around. Put it back in but now I can't lock it!!! Anyone else had an issue? Can't ride it until I find a fix for it Grrrrrr!

Had a look at my cap today and could see black sealing ring that appears to be held in by metal ring that in turn is held in place by small serrations around ring of cap, but how the lock works is a mystery, my key turns slowly to the locked position when cap is pressed down, but how it does this I don't know, only way to find out would be to take it apart, so me thinks that if the ring came out then something else is misplaced so maybe it needs to come apart again?.
