Kick starting with warm engine

My Jan. 99 Bullet starts reasonably well when cold. However, when the engine is warm I have much more trouble starting it. I always succeed, but it takes much many kicks.... What can be the reason ?
My Bullet has the standard Mickarb carburettor and the Boyer electronic ignition.

Mine needs the throttle holding a bit more open when starting warm, then all's well.
Maybe?
Good luck, Chris

Hi Nick, I had the same problem which seemed to coincide with a change of fuel. Having always used regular petrol I decided to treat my bullet with "super". The bike appeared to run a little better (all in the mind with hindsight) but was much harder to start from warm. Since going back to regular no problem with warm starting. Hope this helps.

Thanks to everyone for the reply.
I noticed a clear improvement when starting with the throttle more open.
