About to adjust the chain on my continental gt, and am bit confused with the two nuts on the spindle (chain side) as wether both have to be undone,to allow the wheel to slide or
Just the outer one,and if it is both are they tightened to around the same amount?..All a bit unclear in owners manual.

You need to undo both, small nut holds wheel, large nut holds sprocket hub, The adjusters are inside the rear swinging arm and have graduations on to aid equal alignment, I always check chain tension with all my weight on the bike as the chain tightens when swinging arm moves up.
