Bit of a long shot but does anyone happen to a have a set of empty late Redditch bullet cases handy? I need the diameter of the timing side bearing housing. When I dismantled the engine I found the roller bearings in the timing side run on a collar on the crankshaft shaft, unlike the originals that run directly on the shaft. I don't know whether the casing has been machined to accept different bearings or not, so I'd like to know the diameter of the housing on a known standard machine so I can compare it to mine. If it has later metric bearings, does that mean it will have an Indian shaft on the timing side? Modifications make things tricky when ordering new parts.
