Hi.
I have recently purchased a 1953 British made Model G and I'm pretty sure that some of the parts fitted are wrong.
When I purchased the bike the footrests were off-set and now having repositioned them as per the illustration in my service guide it now looks like the rear brake lever is too short. The brake lever on the service illustration also looks to be much longer.
I have taken a photo but it doesn't look like I am able to upload it here. The lever fitted measures 14 inches from the very front of the lever to the very back of the lever arm.
I have uploaded the photo here - http://honeybeeretreat.co.uk/Rear-Brake-Lever.jpg
I would be really grateful if a Model G owner would be kind enough to confirm the length of their rear brake lever.
Thanks
