The EFI light comes on when I use the brake or indicators and stalls the engine.....!Once I stop using any electrical power the light goes off again. The battery is fully charged and topped up but will not turn the starter over!

You say the battery is fully charged but what is the voltage when the battery is at rest and also when the engine is running just as a starting off point

when you say alarm do you mean as in alarmed, if you have an alarm system fitted you will need to seek help from the alarm supplier they can cause all sorts of problems

I think he means the MIL light.
clean/check battery terminals are tight. sounds like resistance causing voltage drop when lights etc. used.
Ammo coming for breakky Sunday Les?

I think I have seen reports of poor crimping of the battery lead terminal connections which could also give the same fault
If you are back Simon that sounds like a good idea

Sounds more like a short in the indicator/brake light switch, connectors or fuse to me. If I understand the OP correctly it is the indicators and braking that cause the problem; presumably runners my with the lights on has no ill effect? I'd clean the fuse connectors and test the wiring and connections leading to the rear light/ flashers first and take it from there.
