Engineering term - Screw it home, means what exactly?



screw until it stops without undue force


Force the bastard up until it goes no further


screw up until resistance felt



It's the instructions for my cream maker on Kenny the mixer.

Yeah? What? Been working away in South Africa. Lovely weather, just back to Northamptonshire and it's bleak as bleak can be out there. In answer to your question, option 3 is my guess, until resistance is felt. Is there a spring washer or other locking device on it?
