Hi does any one know the length of the front wheel spacer on the disc brake models, this looks like a bit of pipe with two washers welded on about 20mm from each end, I assume this is a snug fit between the ballrace iner diameter. I have a new rear wheel one I can cut down, it takes way too long to ship from india or uk and hope they send the right part.
Have a nice day from a sunny 37c in sydney aust.

Be careful, it needs to be an exact fit or your bearings will load up and fail very quickly. My bike had a spacer to short fro mew and it destroyed the bearings so I ordered a new one from our hosts. This was a little too long so had it machined on a mates lathe. Best bet is to measure with a depth guage.

Barry: You are totally mistaken. The part that determines the preload/float of the wheel bearings is the inner spindle, NOT the end spacers.

The wheel bearings failed for some other reason; poor fitting is the most common cause, poor quality bearings the second. Over filled with grease the third.

Scotty: Have you checked with UMI for the part? It is listed as being in stock...
