Tip from the Royal Enfield GB Facebook group.
Rimmel of London's "Black Cab" nail varnish is a good match for a black Enfield; to cover small scratches before the rust sets in.
Available from Fleabay.

Nail varnish to touch up scratches? Namby pamby Metropolitan types, why not go the whole hog? Chain grease as hair gel, Gunk as deodorant and gearbox oil as lip gloss? (just don't use 20/50 as it's too thin and comes off on your sushi)

Mark, do you happen to smell like an engine by any chance?

Now there are women in the army, would they have olive green nail stuff that would suit Tornado?

'Twas I - the aforementioned nail varnish was left over from a project on my Savage (Suzuki, not Lily) where I was making a digital trip counter, and needed to paint alternating black and white stripes on one of the speedo gears. The chemist was closer than the model shop :-)

I have several "pound shop" nail varnishes, each to match my several vehicles - just the job to touch in chips and scrapes before corrosion makes it a much bigger job. Also a clear one for exposed threads etc. It's not locktite, but ok for less critical bolts I find, as well as stopping rust marks.
