Hi all . I'm swapping the indicaters on my 500 classic. Changed the rear set, bingo, works a treat'! Done the front ones, bloody things don't flash. Tried the old ones on the front, worked again. Is the flasher unit located in the front indicators or something. Anyone else had this problem? Cheers Soley.

Nope, flasher unit is under the seat. Feed for the rear ones comes from the front though. Earth = black, r/h flashers +ive = black/green, l/h flashers +ive = black/white. At least that's how it is on mine.

You have to make sure the globe wattage is the same in the new blinkers because the flasher can is wattage sensative

That's true Norm but the lights usually flash - just at the wrong speed.

Not always Peter, remember these are Enfields and no one set of rules cover them all.
