Hi all, I find that the brake pedal on my Classic Electra EFI grounds rather too readily on right hand bends. Tight roundabouts a particular problem, and not only with 'er indoors aboard. Mr. H. Suggests rear set kit. A bit radical for me. Do any of you have any suggestions. By the way being nearer 70 than 60 you can assume that I am no Rossi!!

Check the peddle return stop bolt and that the lever is not too bent.





Only other advice? Avoid Milton Keynes if possible!

Check the height of the pedal to exhaust clearance. There should be some adjustment on the stop bolt to raise, or lower, the pedal. I have the pedal adjusted as high as possible without clanking on the exhaust. I have managed to get the exhaust system well tucked in to the bike. Obviously you then need to adjust the rear brake adjust nut and the stop lamp switch.

I'm certainly not one for getting my knee down but I'm not adverse to leaning a bike well over. I don't think I've ever made contact with the brake pedal. Classic or Electra?
