Good afternoon all, so I was about to take part in the Distinguished gentlemans ride (ride for prostate cancer)
And as I was mothering down a country lane my bike (Electra EFI 2010) made a squealing noise and then stopped, I could not kick it over, it would not E start and I couldn't even bump it!
It's got a farly new battery fitted 4 months old, I've checked the electrical connectors that I could see
And all was fine I'm stuck as to what the problem is?
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Squealing noise then locked up. Sounds like a seizure to me too. High oil temperature would suggest this as well. Problem now is why.

It's going to the garage tomorrow as I don't have the expertise of it an engine seizure.
I'm hoping it's a quick fix as I've been enjoying the calm weather we have had for the past few months
And the daily commute to and from work has been more enjoyable on the bullet I

Sorry to read of your woes.
I rode the London DGR, for the third year in a row, and Slo Poke behaved impeccably.
Even started first kick, every time, in spite of a thousand strong audience!

The bad news is it seized, the good news is it seized slowly, no big bang. Did you check the oil? What is its colour and condition? Any metals in the filters or magnets?
The MIL/DOL usually provides a list of nonsense, it's telling you the engine got hot and stopped. It's not telling you why it got hot and stopped. There is an off-chance it was electronic and hopefully the ECU shut the motor down before too much damage was done. The codes make some sort of sense but nothing really useful like what happened.

Squealing sounds more like something rotating binding rather than something reciprocating.
