Guys I need some assistance please. I have removed the rear wheel, sprocket and brake from my 1996 535cc Classic. This was done in order to more correctly set the float tightness of the floating lever arm nuts (they had worked loose and allowed the brake to shudder). I also planned to clean the thread of these floating nuts of the loctite 242 (which is NOT tolerant of oil/grease) and replace with loctite 243 which is reportedly tolerant of oil.

All went well, until I came to replace the brake+sprocket into the frame and then I couldn’t remember if the LHS spacer went between the brake-and-frame or outside it. This is the spacer on the attached image #24.

Can anyone advise?
Thanks, ChrisD

Thanks Vince - that's what I started to do, but stopped when I realised if it was wrong, I'd have to undo all that filthy stuff again.
Cheers, ChrisD
