Hi All

I'm working on a Model G (well a few boxes of parts that should one day ressemble one again), and I was hoping that somebody might be able to help me with some frame dimensions.
It has a 1949 frame, but I suspect it may not be 100% straight.
Does anyone have the dimension across the bottom of the frame, between the centrelines of the front and rear engine lugs, or able to measure them for me?

many thanks

Dave

thinking about it the diagonal measurement from the bottom front lug to the upper rear lug, (i.e. the points where the rear frames attach) would be really useful

cheers

I have a 1947 J which I think should be identical to your 49 G and the measurement centre to centre between the studs that the parts book online lists as #3 and #6 is 583mm. Hope this helps. Cheers, Brian

Hi Brian

Thank you very much for measuring that. Interestingly my frame measures 600mm between the centres of those studs. Maybe different frames between J and G or just production variance?

many thanks

Dave

Hi Dave, You are correct. I checked my original parts book and all 3 frame portion part numbers are different to the G. Sorry about that. Hopefully someone else can help. Cheers, Brian
