I have a 1979 350 Bullet. Looking at your parts books, the swing arm 350 bullet go to 1961 and the 350 bullets export start in 1991. So how do I order parts for my 1979 yr.
Thanks Leo

If it was me, I'd call Hitchcocks on the telephone. Two minutes of discussion will usually get you years of experience...

Production of the Bullet ceased in England ca 1961 but some got registered years later from old stock. Indian export models started when(?) 1991 but some were imported years and years before that. Indian 'domestic' production started from 1954/56 for the indian army. Many of the parts are unchanged in 60 years of production but RE India love changing specs without notice. Like when did they go metric? You've probably got an indian built bike but, given its age, is it original or bits and pieces; replaced forks, three sets of wheels and two engine swaps. Check engine and frame numbers, talk to Hitchcocks.

Hi, Our host may still be able to supply a parts book for that year as I had one sent to me in 2007. My bullet was manufactured in 1965 and has both G2 and IE frame and engine numbers. Vince

"Like when did they go metric?"
They didn't (well not altogether) I have one of the last Iron Bullets (2008)and it's a complete mixture of BSCy, BSF, Metric and I think there's some Whitworth as well. There seems to be no order to what was used where, except that any thread into the frame seems to be BSCy.
Are the new EFI models all metric?
" Check engine and frame numbers"
Talk to Graham Scarth of REOC especially if you have something at all "odd". He is trying to complete his records of frame numbers and is always interested in filling in any gaps.

PeteF - "metric" was a bit of a joke

The EFI appears to be all-metric apart from the odd size Allen bolt on the silencer clamp.
