Just tap the retaining pins out.

As above, just tap out the pin. No need to remove caliper from the fork.

I found my pads hang over the edge of the disk so would be interested if yours are the same when you remove them.

I fitted SBS sintered pads, I have used them in all my bike for years and find them to be fantastic.

Let us know how you get on

Problem is we bought a master cyl and caliper kit from india 135 bucks but identical with gt brake, but gt runs a 300mm disc ours a 280mm one so pads hang over disc, dont know if 300mm disc would cure prob as gt runs thicker fork tubes assuming hub holes are std on all models. Buying bits for these bikes is a bit like a lucky dip, could use the old caliper still cheaper than buying a re master cyl.

Scotty, you need to be perfectly clear which bike model and brake you have - the 535 CGT has a Brembo 300mm, the Bullet/Classic is 280mm and although superficially similar, it is not the same. If you have overhang, which will prevent full braking pressure, you have an alignment issue. If you have fitted a knock-off CGT caliper to a 280mm rotor I would not expect it to align because (a) it is a knock-off and be (b) it is for a larger diameter disc.
