Hello . Is there a kit available to put a kickstart on this bike,as you all know this is handy, to give the e/s a rest and for setting issues, is this going to be a expensive add on . Thanks

I don't know if there's a kit available, but looking through the on-line parts books I've got the cost up to £312.96 (inc vat) which gets you a R/H engine cover, kickstart and the kickstart shaft sub assembly. On top of those items you'd also need gaskets and seals etc. I'm starting to think it's going to be expensive (I also have an electric start only Electra EFI). There again, you only need to trash a couple of sprag clutches to spend more than £312!

If you look carefully at the parts diagrams you should be able to see what parts you need. I think your going to find it all comes down to whether the gearbox main shaft is different. The outer case is around £160 and you'll need this unless you can get the original machined (supposing it is the same apart from the blanked off bit) If you need the mainshaft as well??
A lot of these early EFIs were recalled for a gearbox problem; I would try to find someone who did some of this work (did they all go back to Watsonian?
