Having got slightly fed up with the ever-flapping tank decals on my B5 Bullet EFI (plus, I thought they were a bit ugly*), I thought I might change them. The use of a hair-dryer in a suitably ventilated space and some carefully peeling got the old ones off in one piece, and new gold ones courtesy of our hosts were applied. Given the inherent problems of applying a flat thing to a curved thing, I actually bought three sets in the expectation that I would cock at least one of them up, a prediction which turned out to be true.

I think they look rather fine, gold on green. Of course, both sides of the tank don't quite match In terms of location or level-ness, but given that I'm unlikely to see both sides of the tank at the same time, short of a catastrophic incident on the A19, I'm happy.

Hi ric, the plain gold ones (as here) are part number 144651.

There are also similar but edged with black which are part number TRANSFER7B which I think would look better on lighter coloured tanks as the black edging makes the gold stand out a little bit more.

Yes I've got to agree that looks much better then the original horrible plastic chrome effect ones you took off.
The original ones look far too big & untidy for the tank.

A set of late 50's Redditch badges might look good. A.

I never really got used to the new logo which reminds me of three cats sittng with their backs to you, with their three curly tails making up the ends of the words, but the new wing badges really don't sit well with me.



Gold on Green? Just perfect! I changed the transfers on Tornado and am still really pleased!

Shoving a gold one on the rear proved to be quite nice too! This is the vinyl peel off sticker, but looks like a water slide transfer.
