Hi, I finally bought myself a 350 Bullet to make a bobber from. Its only "in stock" at the min, but I have loads of idea's spinning round in my head on what I could do to make it different from all the rest,

So, I was wondering, had anyone ever Turbocharged one? I Understand that if you put even a moderate amount of boost into it, things are going to end badly, but I thought, what if the boost was so low it was almost just above normal pressure, in reality almost just for show?

Any ideas? I think my main concern would be where to get the oil supply to feel the turbo from.

For a multitude of technical reasons turbocharging a single cylinder engine is not worth even trying.

boost by itself won’t be enough.



but boost and higher compression, will get you the most bang for your buck.



with emphasis is on the bang not so much on the buck

If it's going to be a bobber then making some sort of hypercharger might look the biz even though it probably wouldn't do much.

I have to ask why do folks chuck so much time effort & money at what is really a very agricultural motorbicycle with inbuilt fragility then ask why it has blown up, gone bang, won't start, won't tick over or runs like a bag of shyte.
The answer really I suppose is because they can!

For the oil supply, why not splice into the rocker oil feed pipe and ruin the top end as well as the lower end. Forced air systems work best in the region of 1 bar (14 psi ish), as the ideal fuel / air ratio is 14.1:1, this may mean a serious up-grade of your carb/injection system, as well as crank, con-rod and mains. if the bottom end can stand it, get a properly set up nitrous kit.

Beezabryan. Because they like wielding spanners? (Mind you I had a happy hour this morning, I had ordered a concrete mixer off of the internet. It arrived the this morning in a box 2ft x 2ft x 14in. It had an assemble it yourself concrete mixer in it.)

Super charges a Panther when I was young and incredibly stupid...


Bottom end last about 500 miles and ended up with the crankshaft embedded in the the middle of Leytonstone High street.
