Evening folks, today I have become the proud owner of of a clipper 250 1961 royal Enfield. It has engine and frame numbers and the original number plates. It also has an original buff log book and has a tax disc from 1975, the last time on the road I guess. The reg has expired and wondering what are the next steps in reclaiming the original reg.
Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance smiley.

What do you mean the reg has expired.
Have you tried searching here:-

the DVLA do have a page (somewhere) about reclaiming old reg's. The buff logbook is the best, but if supported with the tax disc, then it 'should' be ok.

Smiley, there is a group for the 250 models at
[email protected] Come and join in, we have one member who has just finished a Clipper and another who has one under restoration right now as well as much more. There is lots of info and pics on the site too.
