headlight issue

morning , sorry if this is an old issue . Im mechanical not electrical !!...ive a 2012 efi 500 desert storm ..sidelights and flash work but low beam and high beam from switch wont work ?....Ive checked fuses / bulb / connections and lubed up to double check ...still nothing ...before I start replacing switch clusters etc am I missing a simple fix ??...thanks in advance all .

I know this sounds a bit obvious but have you changed the headlight bulb and cleaned the bulb holder. If you have already done this then get a test meter and check for voltage at holder and also check continuity of return/earth to frame if return is ok then work your way back towards the switch gear to you find current test each side of switch.. Sorry I cant help more but Not much knowing these new models are they like previous bullets with A/c D/c headlights or all directly D/c from battery.

Henry, I had exactly the same problem with my GT. Turned out to be the switch. Fortunately the bike was still under warranty so I got it replaced for free.
