I've fitted twin chrome headlights to my 535, just for aesthetics, something different. As l ride with dipped lights during daytime and nighttime I've found the isn't enough current to the two bulbs without the battery light coming on when I've stopped at junctions or traffic lights. So l then fitted LED side lights and stop and tail light, to have on during daylight riding instead of dipped lights. When l fitted these LED bulbs, to test them for the first time as you do, l found, with ignition on and lights off, pushing the foot brake down, the rear brake light came on, but so did the two side lights and the clock lights? Something l can't understand, lve put the original stop and tale light back in, and it's back to normal. So now l ride with LED side lights on during daylight, but nearly every time I get to my destination one of them nas either blown on not eluminated due to poor connection. Does any one know why my lights won't work normally whith an LED stop and tail bulb ?

It's an earthing problem, a lot of cheap LEDs do this. Some come equipped with a resistor kit to stop it but proper polarity sensitive (or better quality non-polarity sensitive ones) will fix it. Try these guys,

Dennis, before you send them back (or whatever!) try running an independent earth to the tail light, it may be the existing one isn't good enough as it is. Just a length of wire from the battery negative (I assume it's negative earth,) to a good earth point on the light unit.
