Hi all, fitted my newly purchased PCV on Sunday and took it for a run. Worked fine for 10miles ish then started miss firing and popping. Changed plug as this was old one and seemed ok. Went to start this morning and would not start on the electronic ignition but it did eventually kick started it. Rode to work ok but had little power and kept popping and banging. Went to leave work and would not start either kick or switch. Has anybody experienced this with PCV?
I've checked the connections , got good spark too. Crank position sensor Mayb? Need some help !!
Thanks

I have a PCV on mine and it is fine. There are two identical plugs that go down under the air box if I remember, did you get them the correct away round?
I would unplug it all and see how the bike runs first to rule out that any ransom issues and then try again.
What map are you running?

Hi nobbi
I will try them Tommorow and see if that's makes a difference. I just have the standard map set for a k and n filter and an aftermarket exsaust. I'm thinking of taking it to a tuner locally to dunno it and look at the mapping.

If the bike ran ok for 10 miles - then can be no problem with the mapping - you need to check for a bad connector / block connector / faulty side stand switch / water ingress somewhere. If you mix up the two crank sensor / coil connectors - then the bike will not run at all.
