Hey chaps,

Has anyone used or fitted the above set from our hosts catalog? Item no.92076?

Is it easy to fit? Does it present any problems? etc. etc.

It seems like a good idea & I'm considering this for Effie, my 2008 Electra EFI.

I bought a pair from India via ebay. One didn't work but they send another set out no hassle. On mine, the resistors are a bit bulky so it was a bit of a fiddle getting the wiring through the holes in the casquette. Mine arrived with flat front lenses which I removed and fitted the standard cone shaped ones, also, the rims were chromed plastic which were a bit fragile and the ears broke so again I used the originals.
They are very bright - I wonder if they might be too bright and cause glare to oncoming traffic? I haven't been out on the road in the dark with them yet though so cannot say for sure.

I just bought LED bulbs from this website www.superbrightleds.com and installed them in the pilot light locations and the idiot lights. just plug and play they really improved the visibility in the daylight.

I used the LED pilot bulb (92077) instead of the whole unit, they are definitely brighter than the standard bulbs - not stupidly bright to cause glare or anything but are more noticeable

Hi Gaz262, yes I did that. Fitted easily, lights brighter and more noticeable so that was a success. They've been on for ~300kkms now and no issues.
