Does anyone know how difficult it would be to remove dents in a petrol tank,and how is it done, as i would like to have mine done it goes against the grain to settle for paint?? yuk ! needs chrome,

Well, it depends on the dent! Generally speaking the bottom will need to be cut out and then de-dented from the inside then welded up. There are a few who are skilled enough to do it using a dolly inserted through the filler but the guy I know who does this is so incredibly slow I can't really recommend him. If you want it done to a quality suitable for re chroming get the best job you can. I recommend Terry at Metal Magic 01189 731631 near Sandhurst. They also do a range of repro WD Flying Flea spares too by the way! DO NOT listen to anyone who says dents can be removed by air pressure, I've seen the results and it's very very ugly!
