Hi all, I think I may have over tightened one of the studs that hold the front wheel clamps on, please can anyone advise the best method of fixing this, I consider this rather important as they are holding the front wheel on ?

The studs screw into the fork legs and are replaceable, or have you stripped the thread in the alloy fork leg?

If its the nut or stud or both, replace them. If the thread in fork leg then Helicoil repair

As Neddy says but if you've put that much force on, the axle caps will be suspect. Check carefully for cracks or, better still, fit Mr H's steel caps.
